Yeah It's Friday!

As my title shows I am sooo happy that it is Friday. I don't have to go to work. I am actually off for over a week.Yeeaahh! I little burned out so it will be nice to spend some time with my family. The hubby is off too so we have actually planned a little vacation. Tomorrow afternoon we will be heading for.... Las Vegas. We are all super excited. Especially Luis. We keeps saying "Effiel Tower Mom". But today we have prep stuff to do to get ready. Laundry, packing, cleaning, oil change for the truck. We also have a graduation tonight and early tommorrow morning but we actually get to go out to dinner tonight before the graduation by ourselves. It has been a long time! We are going to one of our favorite places to eat..Guess where???

Grandpa's Birthday

I didn't realize that I have not posted anything in over a month. I stalk...oh I mean read other blogs but have been neglecting my own. Life has been crazy. I finished school and graduated from CSUF Memorial Day weekend. The daily craziness of life and its routine have overtaken me but I have a chance to breath now because at least I won't have to worry about any school work. Just work and taking care of my family. But now we are in the race to find a home. It is a tedious process and not as much fun as I thought it would be. I know "our" home is out there. We just have to be patient. These pictures are of all the events that we have attended in the last month or so. I hope to figure out how to place my post ahead of my pics. Any hints?

We spent Easter in Riverside with Alberto' s family. All in all it was a good time. Lots of BBQ and way too much candy. It was Luis' second egg hunt(last time he was only 1) Not sure if he liked it but he got enough courage to at least pick up a few eggs.

Thankful Thursday

I am feeling a little sad on this Thursday. This weekend will be services for the Montana plane crash. Makes me feel so sad for their families. Life is so short and we just don't realize how precious time is. Please keep the families in your prayers. Pray that they can find comfort in God and He will give them the strength to go on. Hold your loved ones close and always remember to tell them how much you love them because you just never know what will happen. Thank you God for my family and friends.

Thankful Thursday

I have realized in these last couple of days that life is so precious and short. You really have to treasure all the time you have with your family. It can all go away in the blink of an eye when you are least expecting it. This week I have realized that all the little things my husband and son do that can drive me nuts are trivial! Life is so much more than making sure the dirty clothes get into the hamper and not the floor. Everytime you leave your loved one you have to make sure you kiss and hug them because you really never know what could happen when you walk out that door. So this Thursday I am thankful to God for my life and my family.
